WHAT? A time of fun, fellowship, growing together in faith
WHEN? Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45pm
WHO? Students in grades six through twelve
WHERE? at the Youth House, located on Ford Street next to the church parking lot
Our youth program strives to provide a place where teens can: feel comfortable asking questions, grow spiritually and learn from Christian adults, and fellowship with other teens and learn to minister to peers.
The most important message of our Youth program is that of the amazing love of Christ and the way to find eternal salvation through Him. Jesus Christ loved each of us so intensely that He was willing to die as payment for our sins. All we are required to do is believe in Him as the Son of God, repent of our sins and ask for His forgiveness and invite Him into our lives as the authority - then we are promised eternal life. It is our desire to demonstrate the love of Christ to each student in the youth group. The life-changing message of the gospel can make a real difference in a teen’s life, helping them find a path to a mature, moral, healthy and fulfilled adulthood.
Aside from Wednesday night youth group, our teens have opportunity to share and bond in teen Sunday School classes. We typically offer 2 teen Sunday School classes either broken down by grade or gender. In an age of school violence, drugs and peer pressure, Sunday School can be a safe-haven—a place to share ideas, give encouragement, and gain biblical tools the help teens make wise life choices.
